Tropical wedding

THE SCOPE

An elegant wedding for a long-established Miami family, set within the grounds of a tropical garden.

Just ten days before the event, the planned venue location was lost. The entire wedding had to be rebuilt—tenting, vendor placement, and overall flow—on an open lawn within Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. We worked closely with the family and the Fairchild team to redesign everything quickly and keep the process controlled.

A Sperry sailcloth tent was brought in, with cedar poles and a soft canopy that worked naturally with the surroundings. The design stayed restrained—white florals, greens, and candlelight—allowing the lush setting to carry the atmosphere.

By the time the wedding day arrived, everything was in place. The bride was only informed once the new plans had been resolved, which ultimately proved more beautiful than what had originally been planned.
