A PRIVATE PALACE IN SAN SEBASTIÁN

Built in 1881 for the Duke of Sotomayor, Palacio de Arbaisenea is an English country-house-inspired residence surrounded by landscaped gardens in the heart of San Sebastián. Long associated with the House of Alba, the estate is now owned by Cayetano Martínez de Irujo, son of the late Duchess of Alba, and retains the intimate character of a private family home.

ENTERTAINING IN THE GARDENS

Hydrangea-lined walks, mature trees, sweeping lawns, and the historic palace create an exceptional setting for private celebrations, brand presentations, cultural dinners, and corporate hospitality. Beginning in fall 2027, a new garden conservatory will accommodate up to 200 seated guests, offering greater flexibility and weather protection while preserving the experience of entertaining within Arbaisenea’s remarkable landscape.
