An aisle bordered with petals leads down the lawn to the waterfront wedding site (Town & Country Magazine, November 10th, 2005)
Featured in Town & Country, this wedding unfolded on one of East Hampton’s largest estates—home to Boys & Girls Harbor, the summer camp founded by the bride’s father. Our entire team traveled from Miami and stayed in the same cabins used by the campers during the summer, making the experience feel a little like camp for us, too—complete with cozy bunk beds.
In a nod to the bride’s Cuban heritage, the ceremony path was lined with sugar cane sourced from Harlem. The celebration continued during cocktail hour with Cuban sandwiches and mojitos, followed by a seated dinner beneath a tent whose poles were designed to resemble palm trees.
The ceremony overlooked the water, where—just as the couple were pronounced husband and wife—a pair of swans intertwined their long necks to form a heart. It was a truly unforgettable moment.
